Aloe vera is one of the most popular and researched natural ingredients. Its consumption continues to increase with the collective awareness and the growing change in lifestyles and consumption: more natural, healthier and more responsible.

Added to this trend, the effectiveness of aloe vera, scientifically proven and known for a long time, makes it a key and safe ingredient for consumers. This natural moisturizer indeed possesses multiple properties that respond to numerous needs.

Among the world’s most coveted natural ingredients, aloe vera is clearly ahead of the game, new research reveals. The plant, known for its powerful moisturizing properties, tops the list of most searched skincare ingredients in no less than 37 countries worldwide. Vitamin C and retinol rank second as the most searched ingredients in 12 countries.[1]

The global aloe vera gel market reached a value of US$ 625.4 Million in 2020. Looking forward, IMARC Group expects the market to grow at a CAGR of 7.7% during 2021-2026.[2]

As a result of a rising prevalence of lifestyle related diseases, consumers around the world are becoming more conscious of their health. Driven by this trend, the demand of products containing natural ingredients such as aloe vera are being perceived by consumers to be safer and healthier than their processed or chemical alternatives. This coupled by the numerous health benefits of aloe vera is expected to create a positive impact on its global demand.

Another major factor driving the growth of the aloe vera market is its strong consumer acceptance. The history of aloe vera can be traced as far as the Egyptian civilization. Consumers all across the world have been aware of its benefits and applications for several thousand years.[3]

Aloe vera is becoming increasingly popular in the beauty industry, with overall global consumption on the rise.[…] This trend reflects a wider adoption of natural and organic beauty products and techniques.

Aloe vera is one of the most studied plants worldwide. Actually, it is one of the highest-performing natural beauty ingredients. […] Its anti-inflammatory properties also make it a useful ingredient for fighting acne and other skin imbalances. The plant provides antioxidants, and vitamin C and E, said to firm and hydrate the skin, improving its elasticity with regular application. [4]

To meet this growing demand, our American supplier Aloecorp offers a complete range of aloe vera going beyond conventional quality standards. Sustainable farming, state-of-the-art manufacturing, and advanced scientific research are key for our collaborator.

Everything begins at their farms, where the aloe vera is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or other harmful chemicals.

When it comes to harvesting, the fields are divided into two sections on a rotating schedule that allows just enough to grow before the section is harvested again. This is how the mother plant is kept healthy when the journey of harvesting begins.

At the processing facility, leaves are unloaded on to a conveyer belt where they are cleaned and progressively handled by spray washing.

To produce the gel, the skin is removed from the leaves and the top and the bottom of each leave is precisely cut. Aloecorp patented processing method called MAP increases the biological activity of the aloe juice by 3 times. This is an important step in providing the best quality and the most efficient ingredient.

The aloe vera juice is purified, stabilized and flash-pasteurized and samples are always transferred to the laboratory where analytical tests are performed. Strict standards of content and purity must be met, especially for polysaccharides, important components of aloe vera.

Analyses and reports on the polysaccharide content of each manufactured product are made.

Then the Q Matrix method is applied. This patented 4th generation dehydration technology is another important step in quality processing. It is the key to produce a dry product that maintains the integrity of the natural juice.

The product is processed, concentrated, or powdered using state-of-the-art procedures and techniques developed in Aloecorp research laboratories. The stringent controls, carried out at each stage of processing, are Aloecorp’s Established Standard of Excellence and provide the basis of their quality certifications including USDA-NOP and EU organic certifications.

All of these processing methods are developed by Aloecorp to preserve and enhance what is provided by the harvest. The laboratory tests provide in-depth analysis on each batch. This is essential for every client’s needs.

This is how Aloecorp brings the best nature to you.
